The Creative Thespians Afrikanas is a vibrant Community-Based Organisation (CBO) made up of talented and passionate children and teenagers—both boys and girls—dedicated to transforming and rehabilitating our community through the power of performance arts.
Founded in Githurai, one of Nairobi’s and Kenya’s largest informal settlements, our mission is to inspire, educate, and empower young people by engaging them in creative activities that build confidence, discipline, and a sense of purpose. We believe that by nurturing talent and expression, we can address and reduce the social challenges that affect our youth, such as drug abuse, crime, school dropouts, teenage pregnancies among others.
